SM Shop specifically says "Add 5 Extra Club Slots to your Gold Manager Package"?

If I purchase this and my Gold Management runs out, do I lose them? I know that you retain squads that you have reserved, but this one specifically mentions "your Gold Manager Package" so I'm confused if this is included in the squads that will be retained?
