Soccer Manager believes that most of the answers to your questions are covered within our Help.

I have several large clubs (most far more than 50) and this is mainly done by signing rising players (and selling players whose rating will drop).

If you invest any money you get wisely then it will come back many times over. For instance, if you sign a player rated 70 for £10,000 and he rises to 80 then you would be able to sell him for probably a £1m at least which is a huge profit. After a while it mounts up.
