Soccer Manager believes that most of the answers to your questions are covered within our Help.

You have a valid question but its tough for anyone to give a good answer. These factors aren't in our control and how SM deals with this stuff is unknown to us. Maybe they are seeing the real life demand or interest in a player. Like for Gotze- he is so highly rated, all major clubs want him, he has won Bundesliga and played Champions League and he has also already played for Germany rather than Muniain that's why maybe his value is greater. The last time they made rating changes for England and Spain teams they didn't send messages maybe due to some technical error. Been almost a week now and I believe that everybody playing the game know by now. Hopefully they don't make the same mistake again.
