Soccer Manager believes that most of the answers to your questions are covered within our Help.

In a standard gameworld, such as the one you are in, players will not be able to pick up an injury whilst playing for their club in an SMFA competition.

A player could pick up an SMFA suspension, but this will only apply for SMFA competitions and will not effect domestic competitions. Regarding fitness and SMFA Cup matches all players are 100% fit for the game, and no fitness is reduced.

If you join a Gold gameworld then injuries/fitness would be affected in that gameworld.
