Soccer Manager believes that most of the answers to your questions are covered within our Help.

You should also get money from home games if you wait long enough (and you don't lose too much during away game weeks). Once you're out of debt you can buy some cheap players (look for Free Agents or check the New Players database) to make up some numbers. If you choose carefully you can even make some money from the cheap players. Have patience...
