Soccer Manager believes that most of the answers to your questions are covered within our Help.
However, if you cannot find the answer to your question then you can post it or find support from experienced Soccer Manager members within our Answer Centre.
Anyone can post or search for a question or answer within the Answer Centre and anyone will be able to reply to a question.
Every answer that is posted within the Answer Centre can be rated either good or bad (in the form of a thumbs up or thumbs down icon) and you can use this as a gauge as to how helpful the answer is.

Are you looking at his fitness rating from his profile page or on the tactics screen? Both will show a different figure, eg, if you look at a player's fitness on a Saturday night after a match on their profile, it will show their actual fitness, usually around 70ish percent as they've just played. But when you then go to the tactics screen, that will show a projection of how match fit they'll be for the next game.
Of course, it may just be that Mata needs a rest. If you're playing him when anything less than 80% fit, he'll not be fully match fit for the next game, and so on. Get his fitness back to 100% and he'll be able to play two games a week, no problem.
