It seems I have ended up in a situation I can't get out of. My Gameworld only allows cash sales between clubs in the same league - so I can't sell a high value player to get back in the black as it takes me below 21 players, and I can't swap a 95 rated for a 75 rated player with a team outside the league as swaps don't get you the rest of the value in cash. Basically it seems I am stuck with this squad forever now.

Well try swapping 1 of your good players with someone in your league, but ask them for cash as well.
