A player auto-transfered to an unmanaged club 4 days ago but he is not transfer banned. Why?

Additional Details

Basically, and unmanaged club bid for a player in another unmanaged club and transferred him 5 days ago. Now, a managed team is bidding for him because he is not transfer banned. Why is he not transferred ban?

    I noticed this as well. I think some of the "auto-transfers" are done to balance the books at unmanaged clubs and increase their squad size.
