I don't think you are being picked on by SM, if that is what your are implying. It is surely just a coincidence.
I would advise doing some research on your players before buying them since ratings are constantly being reviewed. For example, Amauri may have looked like a good player for someone's team as a 91-rated player, but he recently had a -2 rating change and he is now 89.
If the person who purchased him did some research before acquiring Amauri as a 91, he/she would have noted that Amauri's form has been less than good and he was recently loaned to Parma from Juventus.
In any case, that is the only way to prevent from buying players who might decrease in rating.
