Player concerns turned off, but the old ones still remain?

In my gameworld, all of the managers had around 20 player concerns and wanted them turned off. I agreed with this because they can get completely out of control, so on Turn 1 (now) I changed the rules and turned them off. However, on the Reports section of the Squad page, the player concerns are still there.

Could anyone explain what will happen with them? Will they gradually fade away? Will these ones still develop but no new players be added to the list?

    The concerns will gradually disappear over the course of the season or longer dependent on what level of concern they are on. This is because if they vanished straight away then a manager could easily turn it back on the following season and thus manipulate this feature.
