Sometimes I'd like to buy a player but I just don't have the funds yet so I'd like to say buy 3 players from the same club. Can I deal with the manager to get the 3 players on loan and agree to buy for a certain amount at the end of the season?
The maximum number of players you can take on loan at any one time is three.
They can be all from one club or not, or from different clubs - it doesn't matter.
If you were to send them all back you could take three different players - it is not three loans per season just a limit of three at any one time.
There is a limit of three transfers (i.e. not loans) per season between clubs. The loans are separate to this i.e. you could take three players on loan from someone and then buy three players from them. This would look suspicious though to the cheat prevention system so you might have difficulty doing this.
Subject to the above nothing stops you from taking players on loan with a view to buying them. Of course the other manager could leave or change his mind.
