Finding alot of trouble with the forum

I am having some trouble with the forum, I can easily read all the threads etc however I do not know how to start my own and whenever I try to reply to a thread I receive a message claiming my account does not have the privileges. I am currently a gold member and have registered a username and password for the forum however, when I try to activate it by the link it says my web adress is not valid. It suggests that if it does not work I try the activation form and after putting in my username and activation code the same message comes up. When I try to contact the administrator it says my email function has been disabled.
If anybody could shed some light on my situation if I am missing something painstakingly obvious or have accidentially got my account disabled it would be much appreciated.

    There is no link between your in-game account and forum account.

    I expect your account has not been confirmed yet. You do this by following the link in the confirmation email sent when you register on the forum. Check your spam folders if this has not come through as it sometimes goes there.

    If you can't find it, drop me a PM on the game confirming your forum username, and I will have a look.
