Why don’t my players club appearances go up when they play in European competitions and cup matches?

Some of my players are unhappy so I play them in cup matches and my champions league matches to try and give them some game time to hopefully improve their happiness, however when i look at their club appearances after it still says 0 even though they have played in these games, so am i wasting my time putting my unhappy players in these matches if SM isn’t even recognising that they are playing??!!

The stats only recognize league appearances. That is very unfortunate. Besides by just playing SMFA and cup games, you cannot reduce concerns. I suggest to give them some league games maybe as a sub to increase their apps.
