Why have SMFA reversed a legitimate transfer?!

A few days ago I bought a player for £5.0m. The players chairman valued the player at £4.7m. The player is 88 rated in a man utd team with a lot of higher rated players. My chairman rates the same players value as £10.5m as my average player rating is 87.

I do not know the manager of the other team. I have had no transfer dealings with this manager previously. I have played the game for 6 years and had no problems with transfers. I don't know if the other manager has had transfers reported, but he appears able to sell other players to other clubs.
