Clearly some of the players such as David Beckham or Kevin Davies are known in real life, however within the game how do you determine this quality?!
Players don't have attributes assigned to them in SM, although I would not be surprised if this was changed at some point in the future.
A good target man would probably be a high rated CF, with good morale, fitness, for example. A good free kick taker would probably be a high rated player, who is again blessed with good morale, fitness, etc.
Although this would suggest it is best to assign all roles to your best player, I tend to find this makes them more prone to injury so I prefer to spread the roles around.

If your asking for players well young players are good for future say u 25 players. But Experieced players are normally better at taking things like free kicks whilst the youngsters are good at dribbling, Speed And Staminaa

I agree with tebthereb. I would just suggest to use common sense. As you said David Beckham is a good free-kick taker in real-life, so he surely is also a good free-kick taker in SM since SM is based mostly on real-life attributes. The simulation of the games is the only non-real-life based aspect of the game.
