You need to learn to make stipulations with the manager ("Gentlemens Agreement") and if he fails to keep his side of the agreement, revoke your loan bid and never loan him players again. Sorry chap. I know the feeling. Been there, done that, now no loaning to clubs before the I get out of the cups or they come out of the cups and mainly never loan a player to a team in the same division. I empower no title rival!

There is no rule against loaned-out players playing against their parent club.
