how come there is a transfer limit of £8m in my league but transfers are going through for much more?

    In your league the only limit is : "Cannot do cash transfers over £99m.".

    An SM standard is that your chairman will set a limit for buying any player in any game world.

    For example, a chairman will not allow to make a cash offer over £45m for a player rating 88.
