But apparently my chairmen won't let me. I have 5 CB's. 2 CB positions. So that's 2 CB's and 2 backup. Surely the chairmen should let me loan out my 81 rated CB?
I've got a similar situation with my strikers.
I've got strikers rated
88
85
84
83 and 83
It won't let me loan out one of the 83 rated strikers, he's equally my worst striker out of 5, I play a 4-2-3-1 formation so only one of them will play up front and he is unhappy about his game time so I would like to loan him out.
Surely this is wrong?
nothing to do with potential, for my barca team ive got neymar, sanchez and, marcelo out on loan. it might be because of your squad size

The chairman will be blocking this because he feels that the player has a good potential to become a great player and hence he does not want to loan him out. Besides the player may also develop concerns if he is out on loan. The number of players you have for each position or their rating does not matter much. I have loaned out and in players with rating of 90 and above. I think your average squad rating plays a part here. Besides no offence but I don't believe that there will be many takers of players with ratings low as 81, 83. Try transfer listing them if you don't need them and see what happens.
