I am looking at a player, it says the manager will accept no less than 460k, but then it says if other players are offered he will accept no less than 828k. Why would I have to pay more if I am also giving players up, or am I interpreting this wrong?

you have to pay more if you are offering players cos every club has players.but not all clubs have alot of cash.thus cash is worth more than players.

The opposing chairman asks for more value on the deal upon being offered players mainly due to the fact that the offered player(s) may not be as good as the one he is losing or being his best player or good enough to play regularly enough to make an impact. Hence he would like make more money from a deal if being offered players.
