I was just curious if anyone has won a FA Cup or Shield trophy without being a gold manager? After getting blown out by terrible teams the last 3 games (5-nil, 4-nil, 6-1) I am starting to think it isn't possible. So far in division 1 play my team is 4-1, with all of the games being very close. I realize that the computer picks the tactics for the games, I just think it is strange that my team which is rated a 90 overall can't even play on the same field with a teams that are rated barely 80 overall. Especially seeing I have beaten several teams rated 90+ overall. If this was just a 1 time incident I would understand, but I haven't won a match yet or have been anywhere close.
Any comments would be appreciated, thank you!
hey,
the 'assistant manager' also makes the line up for the SMFA Cups, and he doesn't put your best players in the starting 11!
For the 'league cups' you pick your own tactics and line up.
I'm a gold manager now but I have won both kinds of cups before that
