When a player gets injured, the game's inbuilt artificial intelligence will normally replace this player with one from your bench. This traditionally has not always been apparent in match reports, but upcoming updates from SM should display this more clearly.

Nothing really happens. You just can't use them in the next match unless it's a minor injury

Bring in your second best players and change your formation to probably 5-4-1

you can actually bring a player on. But if its a red card thy cant be substituted because the player who gets the red card gives the other team the advantage by being a man down

LOL, I got Casillas injured on time with no goalkeeper on the bench so I think when a player gets injured it doesn't change anything.

It depends on your tactics indeed. If eg. your midfielder is injured at #85 and you have done only 1-2 sub's or none then normally SM will replace him for u, but if sub's completed then you go down with 10 players. So you must always have at least one player-substitution for each position, better for my opinion: GK, CB, RB, LB, FW, CM(or DM), Wing.

I once forgot to replace Wesley Sneijder ,who was injured, with another player. A few days later I checked my account and I saw that I won the game 5-0 and (the injured) Sneijder scored 3 goals and became man of the match(MVP).So I think that it doesnt really matter if your players are injured or not.

the player will continuou playing normally but at the end of the match will be injuried
