How to make a manager come online?

I am new to the game, so i have made many signings but 1 signing has eluded me. I have put in a great offer for the player, but the manager is never online, i have sent messages to him, i added him as a friend, i just need him to come online and review my offer, how is this done?
Answers
there is no actual way of making him come online, he will get the ,messages through his email account telling him of his game news but you cant make him come online, and anyway he has to be online atleast once every 30 days .
