i've been a manager for quite a while now, and while i'm quite expereinced i'm not really sure what the yellow arrows you can set a player with mean, is it the passing? their movement? or something different?
That just sets their runs when your team is in posession.I like to set wingers to forward runs, its pretty effective when used properly.

Its there movement; the direction you want your players to move.
