Why are Transfers of my Custom Game world taking forever?

I have made a transfer bid for a player at a external club and it has now been three days since I have received a reply for the transfer. Usually, if you meet the players value you will automatically get it accepted within a couple of days (maximum) but it seems to take quite a lot of time.
I have also unticked the "No buying players from External Clubs" box but ticked the "No buying players from Unmanaged Clubs" box. I believe these settings will not have a effect on transfers though. Does any one know why or how this problem can be fixed?

Unmanaged and external clubs are active in the transfer market, making transfers between themselves as well as interacting with human managers in the Game World. Unmanaged and external clubs will also put bids in for players placed on the transfer list. However, the time it takes to receive this offer can vary from a few days to a few weeks.
