C'mon, you don't really think that someone can give a logical answer to that, do you ?! This game is just ridiculous. It generates results which are discouraging and outrageous. It just says one thing- NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PLAYERS' RATINGS are, FROM TIME TO TIME YOU GONNA LOSE! Doesn't matter if the opponent is a lousy team with low morale and low-rated players. They think that generating such results makes the game more realistic. Well, surprise- it doesn't !
I'm sure there will be managers saying- "Oh, it's probably your tactics, it's the fitness, morale, it's all automatic, blah, blah". Long story short- if you are in this retarded game, be prepared to have results like you the one mentioned in your question. BTW- screw gold membership, it's just worthless.

I outshot the opposition in the SMFA Cup/Champions Leauge by 23 to 1. 17 of my shots were on target. I had 73 percent possession. Guess what? His goalie saved them all, and Ter Stegen missed the one shot against him. It happens. In 38 league games, I gave up only 21 goals. But, I drew nine times, so I finished second. It happens.

I have a powerful team of young players, a thriving youth team, solid finances, and players with good morale. Several teams in my league (Germany Championshipt 8513) are OLD, and they're going to start dropping when their old players retire.

This is a game for the long haul, not the short dividend. I started with a Division 2 team, and I've won four cups, two league titles, an SMFA, and a World Cup as Germany since 2014. I only manage one team, though, so I am probably what you call a casual player.

Oh, I play 4-2-3-1 B exclusively, and yet I still win. Good luck, everyone!

Manchester United lost to MK Dons 4-0 recently. Guess what that means... SHOCKING RESULTS ARE REALISTIC!!! Plus do you really think that you playing a different formation means you win the game automatically? If that was the case then why would anyone ever use a 4-4-2. Get over it and move on man. Life sucks sometimes. No need to cry.

Yes this happens too often for my liking. Its beyond frustrating it truly is. You can almost sense it coming when youve been on a long winning streak you know the system is thinking "Ok its time this guy lost a few games just to keep it realistic". I love this game dearly and have thus far been able to deal with the shocking explainable defeats you randomly stumble upon. Lets face it, its almost impossible to have a "perfect" match engine so i understand the issues they face in trying to create a natural and realistic game. Aslong as its only the odd occasion you get a silly result then i can live with it. It is afterall a bloody wonderful way to waste one lifes :)
