I have placed a few players on the transfer list, when i accept the offer SM blocks the move due to the squad size. if i can do one transfer then this brings me out of debt...please help and offer any suggestions.
The obvious solution, if not an easy one, is to arrange a deal whereby you get cash and a player. You would need to PM other managers to see if they are interested and would probably receive a lower rated (or older) player... however if you are clever you might be able to work out a good deal.
Your chairman should also invest at regular intervals if you are really down to the bare bones. This will depend on the strength of your squad relative to everyone elses. You would also get money for where you finish in the league.
The debt could also be an old problem and might cure itself from gate receipts, if they are less than your outgoings (mainly wages). You can check this by viewing your club Finances; look back over a few turns to see whether you are losing or making money on average (as it will vary depending on whether you have been playing home or away).
Drop me a PM if I can be of further help.
