When you go to buy a player it says "max 150m". No chairman in any game world will ever let a manager pay anywhere near that so what is the point in it.?.
I don't think that is true that manager's won't allow. I have people bidding 140m or so for players like Messi and Ronaldo. They are probably the only players for whom such amounts can be paid. They are just putting a maximum limit so that everything is fair and no one can cheat or pay crazy amounts.
