Why is my 6ft 7 centre back taking corners when my designated corner taker is on the pitch?

Hi, I'm new to the game, really enjoying it, but this seems odd. I had two corners, none of which were taken by the designated corner taker. One was taken by a full back, one by a centre back, neither of whom should be doing that. Both corners came to nothing. One question - why? :)

Firstly I don't understand how did you come to know about who took your corners. I don't know if there is any way you could see that much detail. The problem maybe that you must not have saved your pre-match instructions or that your designated kick taker may have been sent off, injured or substituted.
