Avg rating 87 vs 81, home advantage, vs 10 men for 51 mins, 2-2 draw???

How come, team with home advantage, avg rating of 87 vs 81, playing against 10 men for 51 minutes, can only record 51% possession, 29 shots plays 5 and come out with a meagre draw, conceding both times whilst opposition down to 10 men? Was gutted when missed out on promotion via play-offs last season and guessed i must have got something wrong - this kind of result defies any kind of logic i have tried to comprehend.

Freak results happen, though not often. If you have experienced this type of result on several occasions, then this sounds like an in-game Bug. You will need to report this to SM by creating a Bug ticket. There is a link on the left of this screen for reporting any in-game Bugs. Otherwise, it is simply a freak result that do happen in real life.
