Why are there now random friendlys?

In all the Gold Championships I am in, two random friendlys have appeared in the middle of the season on match days, is this a glitch in the game or has it benn added for players to regain stamina and recover from injuries??

Possibly to help with stamina, yes, although no official reason has been given that I recall.
I suspect also because more games equals people logging in more regularly, which is good for SM as an online business.Answered by
