Does the form of a player play a REASONABLE role in his performance??

Additional Details

If i have a player of rating 95 but poor form but a player of 91 but better form, whom should i choose??

    It's a matter of opinion and you might be better off having this discussion on the forum rather than here. SM do not provide any official answer.

    My opinion is that form means nothing, at all, and that it just reflects what has happened in the past. The match ratings assigned to players bears little relation to the match report so I have little confidence that they have any meaning.
