i have a firendly during the season i have to play so no league game for the week?? bug or new feature??

í am currently playing in english championship 7685 and on my schedule it's turn 11 at the moment and my next game is on Sat 21 May and it's a friendly against Genoa and i also have another the friendly after on 25 May against Roma. Also my next league game is 28 May against West Brom which means i have no league games for 1 week (2weeks Game Time). Yet my Mini Game World Calendar says i have league games on 21st May and 25 May. Is this a new feature or a bug? No one plays friendlies during the season so why introduce it. Bug or what??
Answers
It's normal to have "random" friendlies within your season. This is usually to give teams a break that are involved in several competitions such as SMFA tournaments or Cup tournaments.
