I have a player for my team called Zanetti, and his position is Def/DM. I know what the DM stands for (Defensive Midfielder), but what does the Def stand for?

DEF stands for a player that can play anywhere in defence

Def = RB/LB/CB, THEY CAN PLAY ANYWHERE IN THE BACK LINE
