I bought a pre-owned Custom Game World recently but it says it is going to permanently close at the end of the season. Why?

Not that long ago I was given the option to buy a Game World that I was already in for £2.99 as I was the last remaining manager. Now I have been told it will close permanently at the end of the season. This seems to be a bit of a con to be honest.

    A Game World can be permanently closed at the end of a season if it has one or less managers and it is administered by the SMFA. If a Game World is due to be closed then a warning message will be displayed within My Home.

    This is not secret and is from the online help.

    Why would you want to compete in a Game World with no managers? A Custom Game World is the only type of Game World that can be saved from closing at the end of the season.

    If the Game World is closed you still keep the extra club slot you acquired.
