can a goalkeeper get injured or recieve cards in a game?

although you cant have any less goalkeepers than 2 in your squad, my goalkeeper never seems to get injured or sent off etc. i have been on this site now for about 3 years and i havent yet seen a keeper get injured or sent off, it this possible?
