i did not request or apply for gold membership, but i do all of a sudden, have it. How can i go back to my normal membership?

Additional Details

I was a standard member until recently when my membership was upgraded. Why did that happen? I do not wish to be a gold member

    Anyway, (I think) a friend can buy GOLD membership and offer it to someone, in this case you.
