Why does my player have a lack of games concern??

One of my star players has a lack of games concern. He plays every game as captain and i have even started playing friendlies to give him more games, however it has now developed into a level 2 concern!! why is this? does he just want to leave and the increase in concerns is inevitable?? Any help is much appreciated

you need to use him as frequently as possible to your first squad, otherwise he will be level 5 and request a transfer list(which means that he will be sold).
