I have just finished my first season and my team got promoted from Div 2 to Div 1. One of my players finished top goal scorer in Div 2, but only Div 1 player gets award for top goal scorer. Also the player that got player of the season in Div 1 only made 15 sub appearances and no starts, he scored ONE goal and NO assists, but the reason he got player of the season was because he had the highest avg player rating. IN 15 SUB APPEARANCES!!! You don't even have to be good to do that... Come on SM, this is STUPID
I can understand why you are angry but that's how it is. At the end of the season the player with the highest average rating is player of the season. I don't think they give much importance to players and teams winning lower divisions coz at the end you also as a manager will have a trophy cabinet showing 1 lower division trophy won. Besides winning the golden boot or player of the season doesn't make any difference. You don't get any extra cash prize or any benefits if your player wins. Its just made in good faith.
