Tonight i am absolutely livid! young player Lucas was available and i missed out based on the fact my chairman wouldnt allow me to offer the amount that he went for. Why is it fair that i lose out on a player because of what some virtual idiot rates this player as, afterall i manage the team?

The game is a bit like a real-world scenario. The chairman will not let you bid crazy amounts for any player. If you are a manager of a big team with great players then this Lucas would have been a bit part player or someone you are just buying for future development. The chairman obviously knows the strength of the squad and keeping this is mind he is not sanction big deals unless it really improves the squad.
