Are the marks out of 10 given for player performance absolute or relative to the players rating?
i.e. If a player rated 85 scores 7/10 is that the same as a pleyer rated 95 scoring 7/10?
If so then surely a higher rated player would normally be expected to get higher marks than lower rated players?
If not, then what is the relationship? Is an 8/10 from a 90 rated player the same as 9/10 for an 80 rated player? Or what?
Good question. Never thought about it that way. I think the performance rating is the one you want to be higher. Not that you would send out a team averaging 80 hoping that you would get 9-10 performance ratings, but the higher the performance rating the better your chances of winning.
You also have to consider players' morale and fitness levels. I have 4 strikers, 2 rated 90 one 88 and one 87. The player rated 87 has a higher performance average out of the lot, he also has a better goal average, assist average and MOM average having played fewer games than the rest of the strikers. But I only play him when I think he will have a good performance, i.e. after leaving him out for a few games. He alway has a performance rating between 8-10
Hope that answers your question

Player performance is based on the player's performance in a game. It has nothing to do with their rating. A player rated below 90 can score 8-10 while at the same time a player rated 95 or above can score below 8.
