Soccer Manager believes that most of the answers to your questions are covered within our Help.

Why did the wrong formation and tactics show up initially after my league match?

But then changed back to what I actually did submit when I clicked the "view match" link a second time?
Were the wrong tactics used? Because that would explain why an ordinary unmanaged side had 61% against us by not doing anything special and are the first side to have so much possession.
I believe they had this much possession because the computer used attacking mentality for us which was an insane choice given we were the away team.

did you use subs and accidentally change formation.. if not play a friendly to see if it happens again if it does it may be a bug.. report it to SM and they will hopefully help you.. you will find bugs on help icon
