In one match against a team whose average rating was 93 I had a player red carded in the 15th minute. I thought I would get thrashed but ended up winning 2-0. In the very next match the opposition (average rating 88) had a player red carded in the 7th minute and won 4-1. My teams rating is 90 so this doesn't make sense. Does a red card have any bearing on the game apart from a suspension?
Sometimes it doesn't. It really doesn't matter too much. The downside is the 1 or 3 game ban.
