When a players condition is 'cup', what does it signify

Additional Details
Players condition normally shows 'inj' that is injured or NMF but my players condition showed 'cup', so I will like to know the meaning.
Answers
"cup" means your player(s) are cup tied i.e. Cup or shield or both the tournament you can click on the player and see which tournaments he is cup tied
