In your role as a manager you’re inevitably going to sign new players as you strive to achieve success in Soccer Manager. Due to this, you can use both manager and scout reports to help you maintain and build a strong squad of players.
Within your own squad (via the Reports tab) you can request a Manager Report from your Assistant Manager and they will then draw up a list of recommendations about which players that they believe you should keep or sell.
Alternatively, you can request a Manager Report from your Assistant Manager for an individual player (via their Player Profile) and you will receive a report relating to their importance within your squad as well as several key points.
If you want a report on a player that is owned by another club, then you can request a Scout Report (via their Player Profile) and you will receive a report relating to whether they are worth signing as well as several key points on how they could fit into your squad.
You can also use the Scout Search to try and find new players you might not be aware of to help strengthen your squad. There are several options which you can select to narrow down your scouting, namely by Position and also players for either your starting line up, squad or youth team. The resulting search will then display a list of players based on your scouting criteria along with a report relating to whether they are worth signing and whether they are suitable for your team.
