Connect Game Worlds are created by Gold Managers. The creator can decide on either a league or cup format and also the rules for this Game World.
Please note that the SMFA will also create official SMFA Connect Game Worlds that anyone can enter.
If you are a Gold Manager, then you can create a Connect Game World via My Home by clicking on Connect Game World and then Create Connect Game World.
There are 8 steps in the creation of a Connect Game World:
Once the Connect Game World has been created, the first fixtures won't be played until the Game World is full. If the Connect Game World isn't filled within 7 days, then it will be cancelled.
Please note that a Gold Manager won't be able to create another Connect Game World until their current Game World has finished.
During the creation of your Connect Game World you can select the level of access you wish to have in place:
Therefore any manager can enter a Connect Game World as there are no restrictions based on either your Manager Status or SM Reputation. There are also no restrictions on how many clubs you can enter into the Game World.
If you would like to put restrictions on your Connect Game World, then enter these in your description and set your access to Application.
Please note that a Gold Manager can enter a maximum of 20 teams into either the same or different Connect Game Worlds, and a Professional Manager can only enter 4.
Each Connect Game World is it's own Game World that lasts for the duration of either the league or cup. Due to this, the actions within a Connect Game World won't affect any other Game World that you participate in.
The scheduled matches for each competition are displayed within the fixture list for the current season as well as your own schedule. It is worth checking your schedule as the frequency of games and also kick off times are different to that of normal Game Worlds.
In Connect Game Worlds, suspended and injured players can play, a player's condition is not reduced, players cannot get injured, yellow and red cards are not recorded, fitness is not taken into consideration and form and morale is not affected or taken into consideration. Therefore all of your players will be at your disposal on a matchday.
Please note that the tactics that you set within a Connect Game World will not have any impact on any other Game World that you participate in.
You cannot buy or sell any players within a Connect Game World. However, any transfers that you make with that club outside of the Game World will be reflected within the Connect Game World.
Once a club has been entered a Connect Game World it cannot withdraw from it as it is in the Game World for the duration. If a manager resigns from their club, the club will no longer be on their account, but it will remain within the Connect Game World.
The SMFA will also create official SMFA Connect Game Worlds that anyone can enter. These Connect Game Worlds are based on a pyramid structure where you work your way from League 10 to League 1. Each club will have a Connect Level and this will determine which SMFA Connect Game World you can enter.
Due to the SMFA Connect Game Worlds being a pyramid structure, you must first enter a club in League 10 and you can only enter your club into League 9 once you have gained promotion, which will result in your club going up a Connect Level. As well as gaining promotion, your club can also be relegated to the league below, which will result in going down a Connect Level.
Please note that a Gold Manager can enter a maximum of 20 teams into different SMFA Connect Game Worlds, and a Professional Manager can only enter 4. It is also worth noting that you cannot have more than one club within the same SMFA Connect Game World.
