An account becomes compromised when the email and password are known by a person other than the account owner.
There are simple things to do and not to do to prevent your account from being compromised.
Do's! | Don'ts! |
Use regularly updated anti-virus software and a firewall to prevent scanning or theft of your personal data. | Don’t share your account with anyone. |
Change your password regularly. | Never give your password to a Soccer Manager employee as they will never ask for it. |
Keep your account information safe. | Don’t trade your account for another as the other person is probably trying to steal your account. |
Contact our support team as soon as you think that your account may have been compromised. | Don't buy an account from another player. |
If you believe that your account has become compromised then go to your Account Settings and change your password. If you cannot access your account, due to your password having been changed, you can use the Forgotten your Password reminder to email you your log in details with your current password. If you cannot access your account as both your password and email have been changed then please contact us via contactus@soccermanager.com. You will need to answer some questions about your account so that we can assist you in retrieving it
